Comic Sans seems like a font that could only really exist in the ’90s. The ’80s would have flat-out rejected it. And I think it’s safe to say if it hadn’t been invented by the year 1999, it wouldn’t have been invented at all.

In case you hadn’t heard yet. It’s official. I just listened to the investor conference call, which was comprised mostly of finance men groping for the most formal, indirect possible ways of asking “WTF? Really?” and “r there gonna be crossoverz?” This news still has me out of sorts, so someone please take the initiative and photoshop a Spider-Man Mickey head, because there’s no way I’m going to get to it any time soon.
